Native Garden Project

Cornerlands sits in a 2.5 acres plot on the mesa up at 3900ft just north of Yucca Valley town. Bordered in the west by the San Bernardino Mountains and in the south by the Joshua Tree National Park, the town of Yucca Valley is located in California’s Mojave Desert.

Much of our land is natural black bush scrub with many very old Junipers, Creosote and Yuccas. We have plenty of beautiful Joshua Trees and there are many types of native cactus and other schrubs.

Our plan is to bring in more native trees and plants and encourage this incredible natural landscape to thrive. Natives are sustained through an incredible underground system called the mycorrhizal network which supports the growth and protection of all interconnected life and attracts insects, birds and animals.

With our native garden project we hope to protect and enhance the biodiversity of this area, and add to its resilience and beauty.
